Your story is beautiful, unique, and important. You are worth capturing, in all of your messy, silly, wondrous glory!

I'd love to meet you and make some photo magic. Weather that's a golden hour session at your favourite beach, some sweet moments in a rambling field, or in your jammies at home on a Sunday morning (I'll even bring the coffee!), it is so worth documenting your world.

Family Sessions

Family is where it’s at! Whether it’s you and your kids, or the whole extended crew, those memories are pure gold and so worth documenting. I want your session to reflect the special and unique group of people you are. I love incorporating your passions and quirks. Some ideas to make your session reflect your fam:

A classic sunset beach session. You could bring a picnic, get fish and chips, bring your doggos, search the rockpools.
A cozy session at home. Think early morning snuggles, reading books together, baking, painting, gardening, a backyard fire. Whatever you LOVE doing together.
Walkin’ in the bush. Some of my favourite sessions are along bush tracks in the late afternoon light.

Maternity

Blooming bellies are the absolute loveliest thing to document. You may adore pregnancy, find it extremely taxing, or a combo of both (depending on the day), but I truly believe it is so important to capture. The hope, the love, the tough and the beautiful - let’s capture all of it. You should feel safe, comfortable and glorious at your session, and I want to ensure I do everything I can to make you feel so.

Newborn

Gah newborns!!!! they are THE BEST! My style is somewhere between Lifestyle (natural and not super posed) and a few simple poses to keep you and bub comfy and cozy. The safety and comfort of you, your fam and your tiny bundle is my priority. These sessions take place in your home within approximately the first two weeks of bub’s life. But depending on how you and your family is travelling after your birth we can definitely be flexible with this timeline.

Mini Sessions

Mini sessions are fast and fun and wild. They are perfect for capturing a few fresh portraits of your fam. I generally offer Mother’s Day Minis and Christmas Minis, but if you’d like to join my mailing list to be notified of upcoming Minis, you can fill out my inquiry form.

FAQs

Well, I could try to sound impressive and tell you I have a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts (the creative kind, not to be confused with an Arts Degree haha) majoring in Photomedia. I have been working within the industry for about a decade. But, basically, I don't think that's the reason you'd choose me as your photographer. My style should resonate with you, the whole experience should be a joy and you should feel comfortable and confident throughout this process. I'm not for everyone, but if i'm your girl, we will create some down right magic.
This question though! It's such a big one, and so subjective. That's why when you book I send out a concise session guide with lots of information about selecting your session outfits. I'm also available to give advice over the phone in the lead up to your session. I'm here for you! But the most important thing is for you to feel empowered and comfortable to wear whatever the heck you want.
Sunrise or sunset, mainly for the light! That's the simple answer. And probably why you contacted me. You are probably drawn to the photos you love, because of the light, without even knowing it. At Sunrise and Sunset there are less harsh shadows and this is what makes a photograph even-toned and beautiful.
I think every photographer wishes they could have a little bit of control over the weather. But alas, we do not. Some of my favourite sessions have been held on overcast days; the light is even and so great to work with. If it's pouring rain, of course we will reschedule, but otherwise we will make beautiful images no matter the weather.
Life happens, I totally get that! I will always try to be as flexible as I can when there are circumstances outside of your control. Just keep communication open with me and if i'm able to, I will reschedule your session. Keep in mind, however, that if you've booked with me for a certain date, that means I have turned away others for that time, and if it's last minute I will not be able to rebook it with someone else, therefore if you cancel for any reason other than an emergency you may not recieve your deposit back.
